Friends & Family: October 2023

Happy Fall everyone, and I know I’m being redundant when I say it’s crazy how fast time is flying! But it is true and I can’t believe this is the last week of the month.

Though my time this month wasn’t taken over by my seminary class, Theological Method and Bibliology, my brain was as I anticipated my first paper on theology. There have been many good things about this class, but I’m not naturally good at philosophy nor have I ever written a 5 – 6 page response paper to a book also on this topic. I’ve been dreading it. But finally, I jumped off the deep end and decided I’d do my best, and if it wasn’t good enough then I was okay with that.
