I told Dennis last Friday that I needed him to take a photo of me in my wheelchair, so spontaneously as we were waiting for a doctor to come to our room, he called my name and said smile! I told him that wasn’t what I had in mind, that I wanted an outside photo with all the beautiful spring green. But I decided this is now my world, in and out of waiting rooms and in awaiting life for six weeks of healing.

When I said two weeks ago that my world had changed I meant it but the meaning has expanded significantly since.
