It’s hard to believe, but April is coming to a close and Mother’s Day will be here in only a couple of short weeks. I wanted to take a quick minute to share a few cards our team has created and added to Etsy for Mother’s Day. Clicking any link will take you to our Etsy store.
First, we created a new Mother’s Day card especially for your mother-in-law. The inside of the cards says “Today especially I want to tell you I appreciate your care and teaching that you instilled in your son. All your years of investing do not go unnoticed by me. I am grateful to have such a special mom to call my mother in love.” This card could be a great option for you to send to your mother-in-law to tell her how special she is to you and how grateful you are for her son.
We also have a new card for any mom in your life. It is a great card for you to send to a special woman in your family or a woman who has been like a mom to you! It says, “A woman attains gracious honor Proverbs 11:16 with the inside message: “Your gracious spirit is why our family adores you and holds you in the highest honor. Today we want to say thank you for being a beautiful example of what a momma should be to all of us.”
Also back this year are our ever-popular cards, one with a heart and this message on the front: “The mother’s heart is the child’s school-room,” by Henry Ward Beecher.
As well as a beautiful card by artist and missionary to Algeria in the early 1900s, Lilias Trotter. She created our Mother's Day card image and her art and her profound writing in her journals have been a gift to me. This card is both beautiful and meaningful. The inside message is: “A mother’s job is laborious not because it is small and insignificant, but because it is gigantic and equally important. May you remember on this day of honor how eternally valuable you are in God's grand design of raising the next generation of world changers.”
Last but certainly not least, we have the book that I wrote with my daughter, Ashley, A Mother’s Legacy. The book is a celebration of mothers and daughters that looks at a mother's legacy, a mother's lessons, and a mother's love. Stories from many mothers and daughters, some well-known, some not so well-known, show how family values and traditions are passed from one generation to the next. In it, you will find interactive pages that give you the opportunity to write your own stories about motherhood. It would make a great gift for moms-to-be or to give to your daughter with your thoughts and experiences added for a truly personal gift.
I believe that is all for today, friends! I pray you are able to celebrate the mothers in your life this Mother’s Day.
Ever His,
I don’t see a way to buy one of the cards four or five times
