Question of the Week #3
Hey friends! Hope you've had a great week and have continued to think about how the Lord has provided over the last year. We have been praying for you as some have shared some tough circumstances you are walking through but our team is grateful that each of you continue to place your hope in the Lord! May this comment encourage you today:
"My husband and I are in a season where we both work at home, and the pay is minimal. Yet, all of our bills are always paid, and we are still able to sow into our marriage, the church, and meet other personal needs. It doesn’t add up on paper, but God!" - Rhonda
"But God!" ... Yes!
I just love how this comment from Rhonda shows that when we are stretched, we grow into a fuller dependence on the Lord, don't you? May your heart be encouraged!
One of my favorite things to do when I was a kid was read a good book. My mom definitely encouraged this during our rest times and sometimes it felt more like a chore than an enjoyable way to pass the time but eventually it caught on and I LOVE getting lost in a good book! So since SUMMER is here and I'm in the market for a few new books to read, our next question of the week is:
What book or books did you read last year that you loved?
And since we are in the digital age, do you break out your kindle or do you love the smell of books and the physical act of turning each page to find out what happens next?
Can't wait to hear which books have been taking you on an adventure, to a magical place or to a deeper understanding of who the Lord is. Have a great weekend!
