When was the last time you were afraid? It was probably very recently. Fear is one of the most common feelings for a young child and fear continues throughout all our adult lives. We may think we’ve outgrown it but the next phone call can change our exterior calm instantly.
We can feel afraid wondering what’s hiding in the closet or under the bed. We can feel afraid waiting on answers from a doctor. We can feel afraid waiting for a teenager to return home late at night, for a family member driving in treacherous weather, or for a son colliding with other athletes on a football field.
