Eugene Peterson in Run With the Horses
This is another great quote from Peterson’s book, Run With the Horses, and it is so very relevant for today. In 2020 fear became our closest companion. Huddled at home. Hidden behind masks. Hesitant to speak. Fear restrained everyone for a time. And it lingers today in 2023 as newscasts stoke our fears about politics, culture, drugs like fentanyl, and even weather.
