Like all new parents, Dennis and I welcomed our first four bio babies with joy and great anticipation for what God had planned. It was no different with our adopted daughter. We had equally lofty hopes and dreams for life with her. Our story, like most adoptions, was marked by the unmistakable hand of God.
You and Dennis were the main Christian figures in books or radio who were teaching this truth, and I am so grateful. We fell for some of the control-centered authors, and it nearly ruined many things. Thank y’all for teaching the hardest thing and yet the easiest thing if we stop fighting our own wills...surrender!
