I love everything about this. I’ve read Job so many times and never noticed that tiny tucked away treasure of him praying for their hearts over their successes. Beautiful! I also love how you point out the need to protect their privacy as they share. So crucial!!

I'm curious why 18? Where is it in the bible? And if as adults and parents chosen for our children why would we suddenly cut off the guidance at 18? Clearly there are many out there that are self absorbed and left to themselves, they crescendo, most of the time, I see...sometimes, it takes years by the time they figure things out. Some never do, I think bc the parents let go of their role in 2 tim 3:16,17. I'm really trying to understand. Thank you for what you do. I've followed you and Dennis for at least 30 years, Barbara. I'd like to hear your insight.

This is such wise advice, Barbara. I am still adapting as a parent of young adults out on their own.

It’s a process! And we all make mistakes. Keep walking with and trusting God!

Such excellent teaching again today.

I’m sending part of this to some of my daughters that have grown children because it is such an encouragement. I’m also wondering if I could purchase and send the 2 devotionals individually to a couple of them?

Hi Ronald. I am guessing you mean the Eastertide devos you want to gift to someone, if so you can absolutely do that. When you subscribe to Barbara's Friends & Family it gives you the option to pay for a gift subscription. We have had many subscribers do that. There is also an option to send them a free trial to try it and see if they like it and then they could subscribe or you could pay for them if they like it. I hope that helps, if not let me know what devos you were referencing. - ETH Staff.
