I wished I read this yesterday while I was alone at Christmas. I know the reason for the season but chose self-pit. But this article reopened my eyes and I feel the joy in my heart and playing Christmas music all day today!! God bless you!
We are lost in a maze of medical failure this year and I cannot feel the everyone is so happy either. But Jesus did not come to make us happy but He came to make us holy. For He said, Be holy as I am holy. Like Joni Tada , I have to decide each morning to find my joy in my Savior and smile for my family. If ever as a matriarch of a large family, I am needed to have that “gentle (controlled strength through Christ) and quiet spirit” for stress just enhances illness and pain, it is now.
I have followed EVER THINE Home for years and thoroughly enjoy everything about it. The content, the beauty, the reality of life here on earth as fellow believers in Christ. Thanks so much Barbara and Dennis for all you both provide to the community of believers. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you both as well as to your extended family. Only one issue: I am receiving two copies of the same messages. How would I be able to unsubscribe possibly to one which seems to come from Dennis or one from Barbara without missing all the wonderful content? Thanks again for all the encouraging posts.
