by Samuel Rainey Note from Barbara: I’m pleased beyond words to welcome my son, Samuel Rainey, to the Ever Thine Home blog. I could write thousands of words about this man whom God has gifted uniquely to help men and women traverse choppy or turbulent waters in their marriages and lives. As a marriage and family therapist for 15+ years he has learned much in his practice of listening and listening and listening. Samuel is a man of deep wisdom, and it’s a delight and a gift to share him with all of you.
Thank you for the DMZ in marriage article. I felt led to send it to my daughter and son-in-law. I was visiting yesterday and noticed there is a definite division with their parenting. One is more strict and one is permissive. It causes division between them. They need to be balanced, together and on the same page with their discipline styles. I pray this article can get them both thinking about coming to a peaceful agreement on their parenting ways.
This was excellent! Thank you for sharing this wisdom on relational conflict-info applicable not only in marriage but in any kind of relationship, especially estrangement. Thank you!
Thank you for this well written, insightful and practical article. I'm sharing it with married family and friends. Blessings to your family. Karen Stevenson,Wisconsin
