I was working outside on a glorious spring day when out of nowhere I started thinking of the words to an old Easter song by Irving Berlin that I remember from my childhood: “In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it, You’ll be the grandest lady in the Easter parade.”
I love this! And l love your heart about Easter! I started realizing that myself as l grew in the Lord as l observed that Christmas seemed to take precedence over Easter and wondered why. Thank you for working to help us realize Easter is the grandest celebration of all!!
Thank you, Barbara for every post, the Christmas ornaments (The Names of God) and your faithful teaching!! Yes, white at Easter to remind us as well as others of our Blood- washed lives.
