Exactly what I needed, thank you so much. What a blessing to have someone acknowledge the heartache holidays bring and give encouragement at the same time. Truly your words have helped me live out 1Cor.10:13-providing a way out of the temptation to wallow by praising God and landing on gratitude in the midst of it all. Thankful for you!

Diane I am so glad this encouraged you. We certainly don't talk about the heartache that can accompany these joyous times. I have felt the same as you during holidays. Thanks for sharing with us.

Such a beautiful and applicable post with all that’s going on in the world today! I’m not sure if there’s ever been a time before, where we know so many people going through really difficult circumstances. My heart aches for all the hurting. I’ve always enjoyed your phrases with graphics . . . and I’ve just discovered a way to save then to my photos today! PTL! 🙌🏼 Thanksgiving Blessings to you and your family!

Shirley that makes me so happy! I have heard women over the years say they printed them out and hung them in their office or in their home. I'm so glad you are getting to enjoy them beyond the post. Julie my graphic designer is really talented and is able to bring my ideas to life.

Dear Barbara - I love the sentence and beautiful picture of “ God’s plan for you will never look like His plan for anyone else. Stop comparing !”

Every woman at every stage of life should look at these words every day .

I wish there was a way to obtain a copy of these graphics .Is there ?

Blessings always,

Lynne Gochnour

Thank you for blessing us not with victory but with your pain. I, too, have endured many seasons of grief with my adopted son, who has now been healed through God's grace. I pray the same for you. Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you. I am sorry to hear of your struggles but it helps to know that if Barbara and Dennis experienced it maybe we aren't' so bad afterall. We are experiencing family dysfunction at the moment along with cancer. God is changing us through it all in ways we don't believe He could have without the difficulties. For that and in that we are thankful!

Yes, EVERY family has their dysfunctions and ours certainly isn't immune! But God is constant and ever present even when it doesn't feel like it.
